Can a traffic sensor ignore connection status?

We have a Brocade director SAN switch with over 180 fibre channel ports being monitored for statistics gathering only. Is there a way for the individual port to never alert and only collect stats?

We have 194 SNMP Traffic checks and one Ping check. We only really care about the Ping check if it goes 'Down'. Right now during a period of core instability the SNMP Traffic checks went 'Down' with "SNMPERR_UNKNOWN_USER_NAME" for whatever reason. Even though they came back moments later, we got dozens of ticket notifications.

I just want to turn off any notification for SNMP Traffic sensors.

Will be a bit cumbersome since it has to be done for all sensors seperately. Simply open up the notifications tab of the sensor and set the trigger inheritance to "Only use the triggers defined below". Afterwards, remove all remaining notification triggers. No notifications will be sent then.

That's what I have done as a workaround. Thanks.
