Hello,

I would like to monitor files from my Linux device. The sensor 'FTP' only permit to check if FTP is OK but I need to monitor if files existed or modified.

'FTP Server File Count' is not working with Linux.

Has somebody ever tried to monitor files under Linux System ?

Has scripts using SSH exist to resolve issue or specific parameter need to be specified to FTP sensor ?

Thanks,

files ftp linux

Hi there,

You can use the File Content sensor as it supports UNC paths and is therefore compatible with the SMB protocol. You just need to install Samba on the given host and you can monitor the file accordingly.
