Exactly tell me, what is meaning "traffic in" and "traffic out" in prtg?

i want to see "Speed received data" and "Speed send data" when i download or upload a file from internet ,so i install prtg in my computer and download a video from internet with IDM(intrenet download manager),but i have a problem... in table And chart of prtg show me : at 10:30 Am to 10:35 Am | trraffic in(speed)= 932 kbit/s and trraffic out(speed)= 24502 kbit/s why do prtg show "trraffic out" is More than "trraffic in" , when download a file???

,after that i upload a file in the internet but i have a problem... at 11:45 Am to 11:50 Am | trraffic in(speed)= 888kbit/s and trraffic out(speed)= 29 kbit/s why do prtg show "trraffic in" is More than "trraffic out" , when upload a file???
