Hell Team,

I am working on PRTG where i have to monitor the temperature of the Arista Switch. I added the OID using SNMP Custom Sensor and i am able to make it work but i am seeing numeric value instead of temperate ( i dont see Degree in Celsius to Fahrenheit.

Can you please share your thought on what i need in OID value?

The reading provided via SNMP will be either provided in Celsius or Fahrenheit, some devices may provide distinct OID's for each unit. Please check the device's/MIB's documentation.

PRTG can't natively convert from Celsius to Fahrenheit, but this is possible by deploying an additional Sensor Factory Sensor, please review:

As for the Unit displayed within PRTG, it can be set within the channel's settings, set it to "custom" and you'll be able to set any text/value as unit(no conversion is performed by changing this).

Best Regards,
