Adding groups of devices by tag to maps

I am new to PRTG and I am attempting to build maps for our college campus. I would like to build an overview map for the campus but I would like to bundle devices that I am adding to the map by maybe using the building ID as a Tag field. Am I going about this the wrong way? If now, how do I do that? Thank you.

Dear zachschi

I am sorry, you cannot add objects per tag into a PRTG map. Any object on the map must be manually placed on that map.

However, if you can put all those devices into the same group, you can just drag and drop the group onto the map.
