Email Notification Issue

Hello, I'm new to PRTG, but I'm trying to learn as I go. I'm seeing a notification discrepancy with 'Send Email' option. The subject line is configured as:

%device %name %status %down %message

However, while using these settings for a WMI volume sensor, the subject of the actual email attaches '&#92' to the end of the %name variable. For example: for a device called 'Server A' and a WMI volume sensor for the C: drive, the email subject displays:

Server A C:&#92 (WMI Volume)

Is there something special that needs to be done with these variables so that the actual email displays the subject line properly? I believe this used to work OK for us, but I think one of our other system admins upgraded PRTG at some point and I think that's when this started happening.

We are currently running PRTG Network Monitor 15.4.21.5216. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,

Please update to the latest version of PRTG in order to see if the issue still remains, using the Auto-Update. Alternatively you can download the software from our Paessler Service Center using your registered email and password:

https://service.paessler.com/en/login/

Once you have downloaded the latest version, you can install it directly over the version currently running. The configuration and database will not be affected by installing the newer version over the old and the configuration is automatically backed up before this process.

best regards.
