Experiences with PRTG Cluster

I want to ask if someone has negative or positive experiences with the PRTG Cluster ... Did you have Problems setting it up? How does the Replication work? Does it make Sense to set up the Cluster?

Hello Alexander,

Thank you for your KB-post.

PRTG Cluster makes sense if you want to provide redundancy in monitoring. For detailed information please see the article about Clustering.

Please note that Cluster configuration adds a significant load to the PRTG installation, so we recommend to stay below 5,000 sensors per installation when running a Cluster.

Setting up of the Cluster is usually trouble-free, if you follow our Preconditions and Step-by-Step Guide.
