We do remote support and therefore have a lot of remote probes, is there a way when adding a probe to have it generate a template with pre-assigned groups that I can manually add devices to later. I don't need it to run any auto-discover things, just to create the folder structure as it were.

Hm, you could create a template group structure beneath your local probe and clone it to the remote probe once you installed it :)
