How to set up a ping sensor to external IP for latency/outage testing

Hello. We are having potential issues with WiFi AP's that we are trying to gather failure data on. The AP's themselves are disconnecting from internet at consistent intervals. We need to gather data for our service provider that manages the AP's to indicate the failures over time. We are using PRTG with an HTTP get to a URL we use for one of our production tools, but the provider has requested ping tests as well. We want to be able to set up a ping sensor to reach our datacenter IP. For the sake of troubleshooting let's just say it's 100.100.100.5.

What's the best sensor to use and how do I configure it?

Hello,

First of all create a new device with the IP 100.100.100.5. Then create a Ping Sensor on this device to monitor the datacenter IP
