Remove sensor type after sensor name placeholders

Votes:

Is there any way to remove or not show the sensor type that comes after the sensor name when using placeholders?

E.g. I'm using a custom SNMP sensor and it will show as the sensor name (named "Status") and then the sensor type which in this case is SNMP Custom.

So using %name is %status actually shows as "Status (SNMP Custom) is Up" whereas I want to to show "Status is Up".

Is there any way for it to just show the sensor name and not the sensor type?

Thanks.

Hello,

In order to show only the sensor name, you can use the placeholder "%shortname".
