NetFlow Log Stream Location?

Votes:

Hi,

I see this has been covered but none of the posts are helping.

Running: PRTG Network Monitor 16.3.24.4979

Netflow V9 sensor has -> SETTINGS -> Stream Data to Disk (for Debugging) ON for Only for the 'Other' channel.

The C:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor\ directory has no StreamLog dir. There are no CSV files in any of the sub-dirs, no files with the word "stream" or "log".

I have turned on/off/on logging while restarting PRTG services in between.

I have left logging on and looked for a massive file, or hoped the server's disk would fill up - no this didn't happen.

PRTG Event Logs has nothing. Event Logs in general have nothing.

The NetFlow sensor is otherwise working OK.

Anyone experience this before?

Thanks!

Hello,

The solution is simple, you are looking into the wrong directory. :) The actual directory where all the stream data is stored can be found on either your core server or your remote probe under:

"C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\StreamLog".
