We have one day that the data for all of our sensors is out of whack. It is throwing off all charts, graphs etc due to this days data. Is there a way I can remove all data associated with that date from my installation of PRTG?

Hi there,

Assuming you don't have configured a different data-path for PRTG, all monitoring data is stored in C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Monitoring Database. There you find a folder for each day, which holds sensor-data on a per device level.

I would recommend to stop PRTG's core service before deleting the folder for the day in question. After starting the core service again you might want to initiate a cache re-calculation (Setup | System Administration | Administrative Tools | Recalculate PRTG Graph Data Cache).

Kind regards,

Erhard

I followed your directions and the data isn't disappearing from the sensors nor are the graphics changing. Do you have any other ideas or suggestions?

In this case stop PRTG's core service, delete PRTG Graph Data Cache.dat located in C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor and start PRTG's core service again.

Kind regards,

Erhard
