SNMP proxy ping ?

Hello, does anyone know of a sensor (custom or otherwise) so I can get a remote Cisco router to ping a device and return the results to me (a proxy ping). I understand this is done via SNMP sets on the proxy Cisco router. Thanks for any info.

This will only work if your switch supports IP SLA. Configure it like this:

ip sla 1
icmp-echo <the-ip-you-want-to-ping>
frequency 60
threshold 5
timeout 50

Then you can use the Cisco IP SLA Sensor to monitor it accordingly:
