Disk IO sensor for VM guest

Hello, I would like to monitor the disk IOPS (average write / read requests) for our virtual guests (VMware / vCenter). I'm using the "VMware Virtual Machine (SOAP)" sensor. I can see disk read/write speed and latency, but there aren't any channels for IOPS. This is a key metric and I'm a little surprised it's not already there. I do see there is a "Windows Physical Disk I/O" sensor. But we have many Linux machines as well. Also, it seems it would be much less taxing, and much easier, to pull the disk I/O information from vCenter itself. Is there anyway I can pull IOPS information from vCenter for each virtual machine?

Dear user

IOPs and other metrics are on our radar, but not coming soon. Currently, there is no PRTG sensor offering to pull these metrics. You might want to do it yourself with a script sensor.

We don't want to end up having dedicated sensors for each VM metric, we are still discussing a good solution.
