ESXi hardware status returns wrong response

Hi,

Where does PRTG get its hardware status information from? I have one sensor reporting a memory error. When I login to the host locally the health status page is all green(no memory errors). The same goes for the hosts' IMM(IBM) and the vCenter managing the host.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Depending on what you have added as device in PRTG, the sensor pulls the data either from the ESXi host directly or from the vCenter. Try restarting management agents on the affected host as described here. This should resolve the issue.

Kind regards,

Erhard
