How to Auto-Acknowledge only a Specific Error Condition

Votes:

I stage daily backups to an internal HDD on a machine with a remote probe. I have added a WMI HDD Health Sensor to monitor the SMART Data. Once backups are staged and then copied away, the disk spins down, at which point the sensor reports a PE013 error. I have defined an Auto-Acknowledge which works fine - the problem is it acknowledges ANY error condition and hence there is no way to diffentiate between a powered down drive and a SMART error.

How can I either tell PRTG to ignore a PE013 error on this sensor, or modify the Auto-Acknowledge so that it only acknowledges a PE013 error and to define an email notification for any error other than PE013?

Hello PRBUK,

Actually it is not possible to differentiate between a PE0113 error and any other error condition, I´m afraid.
