We have router A with several interfaces linking to several other routers. How do we scan by range and not hit router A multiple times?

Is there any sort of correlation engine in Paessler to detect this?

Hi there,

There are different options for the auto-discovery. By default, the option Skip auto-discovery for known devices/IPs (recommended) is activated and will not discovery devices which were added by this discovery before.

Furthermore, it will be possible to enter a List of individual IPs and DNS names (IPv4/6). This will allow you to leave out this particular router.

For more information, kindly have a look at https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/auto_discovery

Best regards, Felix
