Custom Gauge Colours

Hi All,

I've been loading in a APC Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) into my installation. One of the OIDs from the APC MIB is for the power source being either A or B. The gauge has a 50/50 split, but is black on both sides. Is there any way to change this to A (right) being green and B (left) to be yellow/warning ?

Hi Nick,

Click on the small gearwheel symbol next to the gauge to enter the channel settings. Here you can find the name of the created lookup file. Next, browse to the lookup directory and open the lookup with an editor of your choice. The lookups are located in the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor\lookups\custom Here you can change the unknown value to Ok and Error. This is also described in this article.

Remember to reload the lookup files after your changes. This can be done on the Setup > System Administration > Administrative Tools page of your PRTG installation.

Best regards, Felix

That worked perfectly! Thank you for that, it will be good to know for other similar lookups i've got with the same problem.

Cheers,

Nick
