Notes/description for devices

Hello,

I have to follow some naming convention for devices/sensors, but I would really need to describe the devices in some notes/description or comments. Is it possible somewhere?

Thank your very much for your inquiry.

You can add free text comments in the comments tab of either a group, device or sensor. This tab is located on the right side of the Notifications tab.

Thank you, I really didnt notice the comments tab. Is there any other way to set description of the device? I know about the tags, but those dont cut it. Thank you

As you say, you can either use comments or tags. But I would recommend the comment section as it allows you to enter more details and also free text, if necessary.
