Billing tool not starting

Every time I start the Billing Tool I get an error message: ''.hexadecimal value 0x04, is an invalid character. Line 1984121, position 16.

This worked one time and has not worked since. I installed n another machine and got the same error. Is there an incompatibility with my PRTG version 17.1.28.1032+

I could really use this tool. If someone knows the answer, please help.

Hello Jeff,

Thank you very much for your knowledge base post.

What OS do you currently use? I confirm that the Billing Tool runs with PRTG 17.1.28.1032.
However, the described issue appears to be a problem with the downloaded Billing Tool itself, therefore delete the application from your machine and install it again. Please make sure to use the latest available version.

Please provide me a screenshot of the error message, if the issue still appear after the re-installation?
