Acknowledged Alarms - State Trigger

Votes:

We have set sensors in alarm status to "Acknowledge for 3 hours" but do not get a notification if the acknowledge time period expires and the sensor is still in a down state. The logs shows the sensor state changing from Down Acknowledged to Down when it expires. Does the state change from Down Acknowledged to Down not qualify as a state trigger to initiate the notification?

Exactly, it doesn't qualify as a state trigger per se, since the internal state changed from down to down :)

Thank you for your quick response. In this case, we will use Down Escalation to re-alert.
