Monitoring permissions

How can we set up a permission set for some of our users to be able to do standard monitoring operations (acknowledge, check now, pause, set maintenance window), while preventing access to edit or delete configuration?

As far as I can see a read-only user can just acknowledge, a read-write user with read-only access to a group can acknowledge and check now, but to be able to pause or set maintenance windows you need to have write access to the object in question.

Hello Alex,

Read only account will indeed just be able to acknowledge alarms. The reason behind this, is that pausing an object will stop the scans of sensors, which effects the monitoring and future results.

Therefore, users will at least require write access rights to pause sensors.

Best regards, Felix
