How To Run Downtime Reports In PRTG?

Votes:

0

Hello,

I am trying to run a report or some sort of extract from PRTG to view sensor level erroring/downtime. So for example, we have a sensor monitoring a Virtual Machine ping. We want to know in the last year, the % of downtime that the sensor sent out the "down" email alerts. What would be the best way to get this information? I assume PRTG can show this?

Thanks!

Hello there,

There are several report templates in PRTG, basically all of them show good/bad requests for each sensor contained in the report for a selected period.

See also for an overview:

What you also can do if you want to keep track whenever a notification was triggered, is setting up a notification as described here.

Kind regards,

Erhard
