move sensors from core to probe server

The current setup at my location is a single Core server with no probes in use. We are adding additional probes to handle the load according to recommendations. I am looking to find a way to take current sensors that are reporting to the core server and have them report to the new probe server. Can someone tell me if I am going about this in the correct way or is this not how it works?

Hi there,

You can move entire groups of servers to different remote probes. Just make sure that you don't use probe dependent sensors, such as "SNMP Trap", Syslog Receiver" or QoS. To move a group or server click with the right mouse button on a group or server and choose "Move... > To other group". Now you can choose the new location of the group or server.

Best regards.
