Is there a way to pause or unpause a specific sensor using a script or api?

We want to update specific monitored application automatically. The update is triggered by a user configuring the date/time in our "updater app". While the update the configured sensor will produce "false positive" notification. So I want to pause the sensor by this "updater app"?

Dear csatoss

Sensors can be paused and resumed via the PRTG HTTP API. Please find the relevant documentation in your PRTG webinterface, Setup | PRTG API. The tab "HTTP API" describes the general syntax, the tab "Object Manipulation" covers topics like pausing objects and provides the relevant API calls.
