Feature request: granular access rights

Votes:

0

Hi, On a device or sensor, it is only possible to grant access rights to PRTG groups, and I'd like to be able to grant specific user accounts rights to a device/sensor. I have 10 routers and would like to grant 10 users read-only access to their specific router, but in order to achieve this I'd have to create 10 groups, put each user in each group, and then grant access rights to each respective group. I'd like to skip the group creation necessity. Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for your KB-post.

I am afraid that it is not possible to skip this step, sorry. Access rights to the device tree are defined on group level.

Also, there are no plans for now to change the way how access rights and user groups work.

Best regards
