ICON Software GmbH has released two sensors for process monitoring of SAP-Systems for free usages. The free sensors can be used without restriction on any number of SAP instances.

For more information and the non-binding requirement, please visit SapPrtg FreePackage

Alternatively, of course, the EvaluationPack, consisting of the free sensors and about 40 other proven sensors for SAP- and HANA-Systems from practice for 30 days can be requested. In conjunction with the SAP Profiler, the most diverse requirements (Basics, Monitoring, Workload and DataBases) can be represented or generated interactively for PRTG in the simplest way.

There is a SAP Plugin, which creates a communication bridge between SAP and PRTG. It connects to the desired SAP system using Computing Center Management System (CCMS) or SAP Control, from which it retrieves the monitoring structure represented in a tree view format, thanks to the visual aid of the plugin. Retrieve just the information you need by choosing specific SAP attributes, SAP PLUGIN creates the parameters to monitor them, copies them into the clipboard from which you can create an EXE/SCRIPT Advanced sensor using our SAP Plugin by pasting the parameters..thats all.

Please find further information and contact here: http://www.corp-it.ag/Resources/Docs/SAPPlugin-Overview.pdf

German software company ICON Software has written a bunch of EXE sensors that can be used with PRTG in order to query SAP

systems. Computing Center Management System (CCMS) and SapControl (all commands) are supported too.

For more details on how to obtain and configure those sensors, please see the www.ICON-Software.de

The SAP Monitoring Add-On from itesys is a easy connection to PRTG, SapControl is supported too. itesys profiler connects all SAP-systems and databases and retrieves the values from the source. The SAP sensors deliver numerous values and parameters e.g. of IDoc, SAP Jobs, Workprocess, Dialog, Dumps, J2EE, SAP Business Objects, Syslog, RFC and many more including SAP databases like SAP HANA, Sybase, MaxDB, Oracle, MSSQL or DB2.

All sensors can be tested at any time with the free demo license. More information and contact at: itesys

itesys is an SAP expert and offers SAP Basis and SAP Basis-related topics. With its own business unit "Monitoring", itesys also offers PRTG-related services. Thus monitoring as a whole. With locations in Germany, Switzerland (headquarters), Romania and New Zealand, itesys operates service-oriented and internationally.
