Deleted probes re-appear.

I have scoured Google, PRTG manual, and support forum, but cannot find a solution to my issue. I am running PRTG v7.5. I have deleted many probes from the administrator portal with no issues. However, after 1-2 minutes, or even a day, they re-appear as disconnected. How do I forcibly remove these for good? They keep coming back. :( Some of these clients we no longer have access to their networks.

Usually deleting the probe object deletes it for good, though it might be an issue with the configuration file itself in this case. Have you tried blocking the connection attempts in your firewall for example? You could send the configuration file to us by email to have look, though I must say that we can only provide very limited support for a somewhat around 10 year old version of PRTG.

Kind regards,

Erhard
