Sensors should not go in red/down state

Votes:

Hello,

We are using a lot sensors just for "performance" measuring, these sensors should never get in Red/Down state, event not if there is a connection issue, network, or similar. Just we need the historic data.

There is an option for all sensors "When a sensor reports an error", i'd love it there would be an option to set the sensor only in warning state (to know that sensor i.E. doesen receives information), but never to down.

Is this somehow possible or in a next release available?

Thanks Oli

Hi Oliver,

The sensor will go into a down state inevitably if the device can't be reached, that can't be avoided. You can however automatically acknowledge them so they don't trigger notifications any longer.
