I would like to setup a syslog sensor to recieve syslog messages from any device, not a device with a specific IP address. The reason is that I have a Cisco router with a 4G backup connection. The 4G backup connection does not a static IP address, so the we do not know the source address for the syslog messages.

open prtg syslog

I figured out how to set this up: I added a Syslog sensor to the Local Probe.
