Antivirus Exceptions (processes)

Hello,

is there a list of PRTG services which should be excluded from antivirus scans? Unfortunately we are not able to exclude folders in our company, just processes.

I think those two are obvious: PRTG Server.exe PRTG Probe.exe

Are there any other processes to exclude? (SQL Sensor execution for example)

Thanks, Fabian!

Hey Fabian,

Additionally to the obvious files, it would be useful to exclude all exe-files from C:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor\Sensor System as well, as they are needed to run the sensors.

If you run in trouble with these settings, I would recommend to exclude all exe-files from the entire C:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor\ folder.

Best regards,
Sven
