Cisco ASA 5550 - no data since startup

We have configured netflow on our Cisco ASA 5550 (Version 9.1(7)) and also PRTG (Version 17.2.31.2018) but PRTG has been indicating "This sensor has not received any data since startup".

We ran Netflowtester (Nf9test) and we can see that the "NF9/IPFIX Packets Received" box has the IP address of the Cisco ASA which says "active". "Unassigned Flows (ID:#" is empty, "Templates received (ID)" has 256 to 285 and "Decoded Flows" is empty.

On the ASA side we have the following settings: Template Timeoute Rate: 1 min Flow Update Interval: 1 min Delay transmission flow create events for short lived flows: 15 sec

On the PRTG (sensor) side we have the following settings: Active Flow Timeout: 5 min Include Filter: none Exclude Filter: none

Also, Wireshark indicates that data is coming in.

Any idea what might be the issue?

Finally made this to work. What we changed was the following:

(on the ASA side) Template Timeout Rate: 4 min Flow Update Interval: 2 min (should be lower than the Template Timeoute Rate)

(on the PRTG side) Active Flow TImeoute: 5 min (should be higher than the Template Timeout Rate in ASA)
