Error sending "Email": Connection failed ("172.16.128.20")

Hi There,

Please assist. I have set up PRTG notification delivery to use a relay SMTP server. However, I'm receiving the error message. Error sending "Email": Connection failed ("x.x.x.x") Please note that Firewall is disabled, no Antivirus installed on the machine, and telnet from the hosting machine to the SMTP server on port 25 is opening. Please help with some hints

Hey orbonteke,

Are you using any white- or blacklisting in your Exchange server? The error message indicates that the machine where PRTG is installed is simply not allowed to relay mails through your SMTP Server.

However, to analyze this further, kindly forward us an PDF-export of
<your Core Server>/config_report_systemconfig.htm in as support ticket.
