I've set up netflow on all my branch routers. I noticed that all probes showed the same information. I then added a senders IP and now the probe is not showing any flow data. Any ideas why this is occurring?

Hi JGreen,
Usually, devices only send their flows to one specific IP - is that configured to one of the probes IPs?

I have a server where al me devices send their flow data to. My issue is I am not able to see flows for each device instead, each probe reports the same flow traffic. Once I add the IP of the interface I have the flow exporter configured on to the "Senders IP" under the probe settings all flow data stops.
Hi JGreen,
Then this device probably doesn't send NetFlow data (either at all or PRTG can't decode them).
Please use our NetFlow Tester to check if any flows are received from the device.
Note You may need to pause the actual sensor in PRTG in order to open the port for the tool

All of the devices I have setup send flow data. I had all the flow data for my devices working fin in Solarwinds. I wanted to try prtg and see how they compare. I have a netflow probe setup under every device with no issues. Once I discovered that the probes under each device were not showing flows for the device they were attached to I tried adding the sender IP to separate the flow data. Once I did this, the probe stopped working.
Wait, is Solarwinds still running on the same server as PRTG?
Yes it is
Sorry for the delay - you'll actually have to stop Solarwinds (or pause the netflow sensors/nodes) in order for PRTG to retrieve the flows correctly. As of right now, Solarwinds is "stealing" the packets ;)
