Content of a website / HTTP-Sensor ?

Hi there, is a sensor available to analyze performance of a Website including e.g. advertise/banner/trackings?

Reason: in a current case it Looks like the ads/tracking banner are the reason for bad user experience. So we´d like to analyze the site deeper in Elements.

Is there a way to get e.g. error code, which element of site has bad Performance or other Problem?

Thanks in advance, Jürgen

Hi Jürgen,

The Full Webpage sensor will always load the whole page inlcuding all elements and let you know how long that took. However it won't do further analysis of which element took how long to load/respond, e.g. details you would see when "recording" the loading process with Chrome's or Firefox's Developer Tools for instance over and over to find out which element may cause an issue.

Kind regards,

Erhard

Hi Erhard,

thanks for your Reply. Meanwhile i used the full Webpage sensor with results like expected. The case like written in 1st posting Looks more like a caching problem of Bluecoat Proxy instead of Website or other related services.

Best Regards, Jürgen

Hi Jürgen,

Ok, good to hear. Keep in mind that the Full Webpage Sensor will also use a proxy, in case a proxy is configured for the respective user on the probe system, while the user is in this case would be "Local System" by default. The sensor has also a switch to run in the context of the user configured in the parent device's Windows credentials section.

Kind regards,

Erhard
