Monitor multiple core servers on one probe set

Hello PRTG folks -

We have 6 core prtg servers monitoring different assets of our datacentre and would like to be able to monitor these within one place. For a little context we have PRTG1 - PRTG6. I would like to get the core health sensor data from all six of these to report into a group on PRTG1 called "Monitoring Server health" so that we can keep an eye on load balance across the core servers as we add in new customers.

Does anyone know the correct api calls if this is needed or a method to do it with off the shelf sensors? kindest Samuel

Hi there,

What metrics do you want to monitor from every other Core Server? All available metrics of the Core Health Sensor?

Best regards.

Yeah ideally all of that data and maybe also the number of deployed sensors on them also. We are currently pushing out installations very much to the limit with 10k+ sensors on virtual machines and balancing load across them falls to me. HAving an at a glance and historic data logging group that can visualise our most helathy cores and find trends for high load would be perfect

Hi there,

Well, we have a new sensor that can read multiple values into one Sensor from an API. Please contact us under [email protected] with the reference to the ticket id "PAE892147".

Best regards.
