Hello everybody,

we want to check, if a html file is only accessible in a authentication secured space. So we want to create a sensor, which reply a 401 as "OK" status.

Is this possible?

Thanks Peter

Hello there Peter,
thank you for your KB-Post.

While this can't be achieve with the built-in sensor, it can be achieved with the custom sensors presented here:

If you stick to the "BEST Answer", you will need to create a modified copy of the lookup that doesn't alert on code 401:

The lookup to be modified/used for reference is prtg.standardlookups.http.statuscode.ovl.

Best Regards,
