Adding dependency based on UP state

Votes:

Hello, we have monitoring for a very large cluster of SQL databases, this leads to 12 disks only being attached to one cluster member at a time. Is there a way to add dependencies for the WMI volume checks that pause based on upstates of another. I.E - If D:\ is showing as green on SQL01 the the sensors for D:\ will be paused on SQL02,03,04 etc?

I have looked on the dependency options but cannot see a way to configure this

Thanks Sam

Hey Sam,

Thanks for your KB-posting.

Actually, as PRTG cannot trigger any notification/event for UP status, there is no way to achieve this, I'm afraid.

Best regards,
Sven
