Cisco Switch Port not Connected - Pause?

Votes:

0

Hello,

we have some Cisco Catalyst in our company. I want to monitor the switch ports and want to see if they are connected or not. So far so good, but is there a chance to set the "not connected" ports into a pause state instead of set them into the failure state? It would be great, because in my opinion a "not connected" port is not inevitably a problem...

Hello,

Thank you for the KB-Post. Please check the "Settings" of the SNMP Traffic Sensors. While the pause - state is not available though, you can define if the sensor should go into alert state or not, in case of a disconnect, with the "Connection State Handling"-Option.

best regards.
