Monitor Device from Specific Interface

This is the first time I have used this program, and I am currently testing some switches. I need to make sure that my switches are able to communicate with a syslog server and that SNMP works. The issue that I am running into is that when I run the network monitor, it looks at everything in my network. I only want to be able to scan on my Ethernet, not my Wi-Fi. I also want to configure the scans to come from my Ethernet rather than Wi-Fi. Is that something that can be done?

Hello Heather,

Source and destination addresses cannot be differentiated by the SNMP protocol, only the total bandwidth of an interface is returned. If you want to get more details of the traffic and rule out the addresses of your WiFi devices, you can setup Flow monitoring. For more information, you can follow this link.

Best regards, Felix
