I would like to decommission my old PRTG server and move the installation to a new server. What steps should i take to accomplish this with as little downtime as possible?

I will move the IP address used by PRTG to the new server so i shouldn't have to make any adjustments to any of the devices i monitor (mostly Cisco routers).

move prtg server
