Windows Server 2016 compatibility w/ PRTG v15.3.17.2996

Our company will be upgrading the PRTG server from Windows Server 2008 to Windows Server 2016 - verifying the running version is compatible w/ server 2016. Also verifying the application works w/ Windows 10.

Hello brotile,

Thank you very much for your knowledge base post.

I assume that PRTG version 15.3.17.2996 is compatible to Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10, but we can't guarantee this. Please note that this PRTG version was released in July 2015, whereas Windows Server 2016 was released in October 2016 (afaik).
PRTG version 15.x is no longer supported, so we won't further test the compatibility with the corresponding OS.

If possible (active maintenance required) please update your PRTG installation to the latest stable version.
