Run autodicovery with template - number in sensors

Votes:

0

Hello,

How can I disable the number automatically added on sensors when I run "Auto-Discovery" > "Run Auto-Discovery with Template" ?

I created a template of 5 SNMP Custom values. When I apply it to my devices, the name of sensor has a "1" after it.

In my template file I have :

<create id="1234" kind="snmplibrary" requires="snmp1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.1.0" displayname="UPS Battery/Capacity">
[...]

And in my device sensor I have : UPS Battery/Capacity 1

Any Idea ?

Thanks by advance

Hi there and thank you for your KB-Post.

This is a known issue/bug in the current version, which will be fixed once version 17.x.35 is released. Please have a look here:

Also, on a side note, since you're monitoring an APC device. We have a ready-to-use device template available here, maybe it helps:

Hi Luciano,

Thanks for your reply. Now I can't update at 17.x.35 version. The last I can have is 17.3.33 :

[11/3/2017 1:28:46 PM] Downloaded version (17.3.33.2830) is not newer than your current version

So I'll wait for the last relase (or is there an ohter way to hav it ?). Hopping it will solve this "little" problem.

Regards, ciadch
