PRTG Compatibility w/ Epson Printers

Greetings Paessler Team,

I need to have a quick discussion with your Technical Sales Support team. I have a few questions about compatibility between PRTG and Epson printers. As an SNMP solution, I believe that there should be no issues between your monitoring software and our printers.

However, on this page here:

https://www.paessler.com/manuals/prtg/snmp_printer_sensor

You specifically mention compatibility with HP Printers and a few RICOH MFPs.

Have you done any compatibility testing with Epson printers? If so which devices have you tested and what were the results?

Thank you.

Kind Regards

Hi there,

Please note that this is knowledgebase of PRTG, there is no need to disclose your contact information here as they are readable publicly. If you want personal support, please contact "[email protected].

However, we don't know exactly which devices are all supported as it is not possible for us to get testing devices from any device vendor available, this would also consume a lot of time and wouldn't help that much. Usually every printer with the default printer SNMP Tree is supported. We mainly use the "1.3.6.1.2.1.43"-OID-Tree in the sensor.

Have you already tried to add the sensor to one of your Epson printers? You can try this in the trial version of PRTG.

Best regards.
