Hi Guys,

how can i archive the following: In case a specific sensor is down i want to send to rest call to a webservice. If the sensor is up again i want to sent another rest call. Scripting would not be a problem. But i actually don´t know how to implement this into PRTG.

Any help is higly appreciated

Hi Jens,

Do I understand you correctly, that you want to send an HTTP request to a REST API? If so, you can create a new notifications via the Setup > Account settings > Notifications page and choose the Execute HTTP Action option to send the HTTP request to your web server. You can then add a new trigger to the sensor in question to send the message as soon as the trigger condition is fulfilled.

Best regards, Felix
