Change porte default Core Serve x Remote probe

Votes:

0

Hello,

We made the change of the communication port of the core server with the remote probe to use port 443, but it says that there is a conflict with the web server port.

We would like to use this port because they are usually freed in firewalls by default.

Is it possible to separate the web server functions from the connection service with the remote probe? So, I could use different NATs, both with the same port 443.

Thank you.

Hi Sandro

If PRTG runs on port 443, you cannot use it for the Remote Probe connection. They're both TCP connections, hence need to occupy the port. So you'll need to use the standard port or a different one.
