New Log Entries Constantly filling up

Votes:

In the top right corner of my PRTG sensor setup where the Paused, warning and error sensors are displayed I get a grey box that says "New Log Entries" and it is just getting hammered and filled up by the second. Everytime I click on it to see what it is saying its just all PING entries, Warning/Up ping entries for servers pages and pages of them. Its just all ping entries for my devices Warning, and then UP and they generate hundreds within seconds. It does slow down at times but for the most part I catch it in the thousands.

What exactly is causing this log entry? Why is it just Ping entries or warning and UP, almost as if it cant talk to a server for a split second and then it can, warning then up entries and its non stop

Thank you for providing the screenshots. We will need log files for further analysis. Just open the PRTG WebGUI via the "Contact Support" ribbon in the lower right corner.

Please refer to this KB article.

Best regards, Emec
