Hi!
I try to set up free edition of PRTG version 7.3.5.5802.
I set up cisco router and ping probe worked perfectly. Then I decided to get interface bandwidth usage via snmp. I chose SNMP -> SNMP library -> Cisco-interfaces.iodlib and got following:
Sorry, the scan for available monitoring items has failed!
Error Message:"No available interfaces on this device (code: PE049)"
In the router I set up "debug snmp packet" with following output:
035864: Aug 13 15:18:22.539 SNMP: Packet received via UDP from 10.1.12.37 on BVI230 035865: Aug 13 15:18:22.539 SNMP: Get request, reqid 30705, errstat 0, erridx 0 ifNumber.0 = NULL TYPE/VALUE 035866: Aug 13 15:18:22.539 SNMP: Response, reqid 30705, errstat 2, erridx 1 ifNumber.0 = NULL TYPE/VALUE 035867: Aug 13 15:18:22.543 SNMP: Packet sent via UDP to 10.1.12.37 035868: Aug 13 15:18:22.543 SNMP: Packet received via UDP from 10.1.12.37 on BVI230 035869: Aug 13 15:18:22.543 SNMP: Get-next request, reqid 30706, errstat 0, erridx 0 ifIndex = NULL TYPE/VALUE 035870: Aug 13 15:18:22.555 SNMP: Response, reqid 30706, errstat 2, erridx 1 ifIndex = NULL TYPE/VALUE 035871: Aug 13 15:18:22.555 SNMP: Packet sent via UDP to 10.1.12.37 035872: Aug 13 15:18:22.559 SNMP: Packet received via UDP from 10.1.12.37 on BVI230 035873: Aug 13 15:18:22.559 SNMP: Get-next request, reqid 30707, errstat 0, erridx 0 ifType = NULL TYPE/VALUE 035874: Aug 13 15:18:22.567 SNMP: Response, reqid 30707, errstat 2, erridx 1 ifType = NULL TYPE/VALUE 035875: Aug 13 15:18:22.567 SNMP: Packet sent via UDP to 10.1.12.37
As you see, all addresses, community are correct.
What did I do wrong? In previous version of PRTG this stuff worked without such troubles. Please, help me.
