PRTG support for Port-channel sub-interfaces

I am getting below error after adding a port-channel sub-interface using SNMP traffic sensor. PRTG were able to detect the port-channel subinterfaces and once it is added, it will report that it is down.

This issue is not occurring when the main port-channel interface is added.

are there any workaround on this issue?

Hi there,

Maybe this is because sub-interfaces are logical interfaces and therefore possibly not monitorable with PRTG. Please try to add the sensor from scratch once again. Please make sure not to select any additional channels while creating the sensor. Does this change the behavior?

If not, please send me screenshots of the following to [email protected] (please refer to the ticket PAE986835):
- Screenshot of the sensor's "Overview" tab
- Screenshot of the sensor's "Settings" tab

Thank you!
BR

Hi Andreas,

Adding the sub-interfaces for a Port-channel without the additional channels fixes this issue.

Thank You for the tip.
