Monitor remote machine

Hi Support,

I have PRTG monitor installed on one server and probe on remoter server. I have added remote server in device list and in that device I have added custom sensor(EXE/Script) for monitoring log file which exists on that remote device. What I found is it checks log file on path on local server and not on that remote device . I checked PING sensor for that remote device and it shows green.

Please let me know what I am doing wrong.

Thank you, Madhuri

Hi Madhuri,

Is it possible that your script does not include any code to actually connect to the remote host? Could you provide me with the actual script (or source code of the application)?

Kind regards,
